One person who falls in the category of the later is Donnie Mcclurkin. was born in Chester, South Carolina on November 9, 1959.
By the age of 8, he lost his younger brother to a hit-and-run driver, shortly afterwards, he became a victim of sexual abuse as a child by his uncle and as years passed, his uncle’s son still abused him sexually.
His tragedy continued and again he was sexually abused now by his uncle’s son.
His sisters also had to face the same problem of abusing.
For those who don’t know, Yolanda and Donnie have been good friends for roughly 3 decades, so imagine how awkward these rumors must be.
He went on to form another group later on which was known as the New York Restoration Choir.
During his career as a musician, his most of the songs are in the number of hits and loved by all of the people.
It was as if the sickness came to cut short his joy and the blessing he had become in Christ to many believers, his doctor suggested immediate treatment but for his faith in the word of God, Donnie who was aged 31 then decided to practice the very thing every Christian minister preaches; the omnipotence of God to heal all. As he not only survived without undergoing medical treatment but went on to do other great things in propagating the gospel o Jesus Christ. Some of his spirit reviving singles are “Church Medley” (2006) and “I Need You” (2014). Mullen very much fit in the picture of a better half for God’s servant.
Donnie has won three Grammy Awards, two Soul Train Awards, ten Stellar Awards, two BET Awards, a Dove Award and an NAACP Image Awards with many more still to come. Mc Clurkin didn’t deny the likelihood on the show but Mullen further clarified her stand through Twitter, stating that while they were dating, they are not set to marry.
