Robert Lamm especially delivered in spades with "90 Degrees and Freezing" and "Come to Me Do".

Honorable mention goes to "Where Were You" and "Lovin' Chains", both of which are ridiculously melodic and just flat-out awesome.

There are quite a few things to note about this album before we get to the meat and potatoes of it. Who made them try to play those lame and uninspired ballads? It easily might be their worst, but Kath was unfortunately dead and Cetera was gone. Sure, it makes me want to go back to Beginnings, Make me smile, Loneliness is just a word, Saturday in the Park and the fabulous stuff almost completely absent from this (weird) platter. Besides, the song is as average as can be and doesn't sound like the classic Chicago at all. Fortunately "King of Might Have Been" is not a bad song, though I would have dropped the hard rock guitar that is so-so typical for the so-called power ballads.well, what was still missing from a stereotypical MOR album? If you are looking for old, classic rock, 25 or 6 to 4 Chicago then this album is not for you.If you are looking for Peter Cetera Chicago then you are getting warmer.
